TixTally vs Eventbrite

You already have an audience. You are paying Eventbrite to reach one.

Eventbrite is built around a consumer marketplace, and its fees carry the cost of running one. If the people coming to your event already follow you, that is a service you are paying for and not using. TixTally charges 1% + $0.49 per paid ticket and sells nothing to your attendees.

What you get on TixTally

One fee, nothing to upgrade into

There is no Pro tier holding your email tools hostage. Every feature is available to every account on the same fee.

No marketplace beside your event

Your event page is yours. It is not ranked against other events, and we do not email your attendees about anything.

Your Stripe account, your money

You connect Stripe directly and stay the merchant of record. Payouts follow your own Stripe schedule, not ours.

You choose who pays the fee

Pass the platform fee to the buyer at checkout, or absorb it. Set it per event rather than once for the account.

Side by side, on the things that cost you money

The Eventbrite column is what Eventbrite publishes about itself, read from their organizer pricing page on 30 August 2026. Nothing in that column is our characterisation of them.

Our fee is charged on top of Stripe's standard card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Stripe's part goes to Stripe, not to us. The per-ticket fee never exceeds $1.99. Our figures are read from the same configuration your checkout charges from, so this page cannot say one thing and your buyers pay another.

Questions about TixTally and Eventbrite

Short answers, so you can decide without booking a call with anyone.

How does the TixTally fee compare with Eventbrite's?
Our platform fee on a paid ticket is 1% + $0.49 per paid ticket. On 30 August 2026, Eventbrite published a 3.7% + $1.79 service fee per ticket plus a 2.9% payment processing fee per order. Our fee is charged on top of Stripe's standard card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Stripe's part goes to Stripe, not to us.
Is there a monthly fee for TixTally?
No. There is no subscription and there are no plan tiers. A fee applies only when you sell a paid ticket or receive a donation.
Will my event be listed publicly on TixTally?
Only on your own event page. There is no TixTally marketplace, so your event is never ranked against anyone else's, and we do not market to the people who buy from you.
Can I move an event off Eventbrite while tickets are still selling?
You can publish the same event on TixTally and sell the remaining tickets here. Tickets already sold through Eventbrite stay with Eventbrite, so you would check those attendees in with their app.
Can I run a free event on TixTally for nothing?
Yes. Free events carry no platform fee.
Who pays the platform fee, the buyer or the organizer?
You choose, per event. Pass the fee to the buyer at checkout, or absorb it as the organizer.
